Step by Step Method
Step 1
Soak beans overnight with enough water to cover beans.
Step 2
In the morning drain beans.
Step 3
In a large stock pot, sauté the onions in lard.
Step 4
Add water then add the rest of the ingredients .
Step 5
Simmer on low, stirring occasionally, may need to add more water.
Step 6
Cook until creamy and thick.
