"Some folks thought seasoning was too hot, some thought not hot enough, season to your taste. Folks this is Creole not Cajun. Cajun will blow your doors off just saying. Some folks like this with brown rice more, just adjust the water. Some folks like tomatoes or Rotel, go for it if your rice is to dry butter it up."

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Cook the ground beef with onions and bell peppers.
Step 2
Cook until browned, drain if needed.
Step 3
Add garlic and seasoning to taste.
Step 4
Add rice, stir around a minute or so and add water and peas (some folks drain them, I don't)
Step 5
Cover.
Step 6
Simmer flr 20 minutes covered.
Step 7
Let set covered 5 minutes off the heat.
Step 8
Season to taste.
