"Have you ever wanted a creamy maple syrup sauce to top ice cream, rice pudding, bread pudding, waffles, pancakes & French toast or maybe even glaze a cake? Now you have one for all those uses & probably many more I have yet to envision. This recipe was part of a larger recipe I found at verybestbakingdotcom, but it was definitely this sauce that got my immediate attention. ENJOY!"

Step 1
Combine sugar, evaporated milk, syrup & vanilla in sml saucepan. Cook over med heat (stirring constantly) until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat & stir in 2 tbsp butter. Yield = 1 1/2 cups = 8 servings of 3 tbsp each.
