Step by Step Method

Step 1

Cook carrots, broccoli and cauliflower together in water and bouillon until tender.

Step 2

In large stock pot, melt butter and margarine together.

Step 3

Saute onions and celery until translucent.

Step 4

Add flour and white pepper.

Step 5

Cook but don't brown flour.

Step 6

Add milk and bouillon and whisk until smooth.

Step 7

Add ham, frozen veggies and broth.

Step 8

Simmer until thickened.

Step 9

Season to taste, add salt if needed.
