  • 18 ounces frozen winter mix vegetables
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon
  • Stock
  • 1 stick butter (1/2 cup)
  • 1 stick margarine (1/2 cup)
  • 1 cup onions, diced
  • 1 cup celery, sliced
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon white pepper
  • 2 teaspoon chicken bouillon
  • 6 cups milk
  • 8 ounces ham, cubed
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cook carrots, broccoli and cauliflower together in water and bouillon until tender.

  • Step 2: In large stock pot, melt butter and margarine together.

  • Step 3: Saute onions and celery until translucent.

  • Step 4: Add flour and white pepper.

  • Step 5: Cook but don't brown flour.

  • Step 6: Add milk and bouillon and whisk until smooth.

  • Step 7: Add ham, frozen veggies and broth.

  • Step 8: Simmer until thickened.

  • Step 9: Season to taste, add salt if needed.
