Step by Step Method

Step 1

Fry bacon until crisp. Remove bacon from pan then add onions.

Step 2

Add in the flour, then brown.

Step 3

Add seasoning and water; stir until creamy.

Step 4

Simmer covered 15 minutes until onions tender. The last 5 minutes add milk, dont boil.

Step 5

In bottom of 5 bowls put slice of buttered toast (I would break bread up for easier eating). Pour soup over and top with crumbled bacon.
