Step 1: Fry bacon until crisp. Remove bacon from pan then add onions.
Step 2: Add in the flour, then brown.
Step 3: Add seasoning and water; stir until creamy.
Step 4: Simmer covered 15 minutes until onions tender. The last 5 minutes add milk, dont boil.
Step 5: In bottom of 5 bowls put slice of buttered toast (I would break bread up for easier eating). Pour soup over and top with crumbled bacon.
