I too was concerned about the thickness of the batter, but it was all for not. The bread came out beauteously. I always have quick breads toasted and this was a perfect balance of sweet and tart. Total YUM! Thank you for sharing! Made for Billboard Recipe Tag.

Daily Inspiration

This cranberry orange bread is really delicious and flavorful. I have to admit that I was a little concerned as the batter was quite thick, but the bread turned out well. The bread is delicious on it's own w/o the icing on top. I decided to use much less sugar for the topping and it worked great for us. I'm not a big "orange" fan in recipes, but I have to admit the orange really complimented this bread. : )
