"This is so good. You may substitute raisins in place of the cranberries if you like. There is a Cranberry Bread that I used to buy that is quite expensive and was seasonal. I will never buy it again because this tastes so much like it; even better. It has just a hint of cinnamon and you can smell it when it is toasted. This is also good grilled with peanut butter, bananas, and honey. Makes 1 large loaf"

I used instant yeast. I used the sweet setting on my bread machine. It really rose super high and was not thoroughly baked after three hours.

I doubled the recipe and made it by hand. I made one large loaf and a regular size. Baked it at 375 for 25 minutes for reg loaf and 35 for the large one. I can't wait to have a turkey sandwich on this bread!! The sweetness of the cranberries it just perfect with the cinnamon. Thank you so much for sharing MimiMaine! Will definately be making this often.

As much as I like raisins, I pretty much made this recipe as given, although I did use a generous coup of the cranberries! Other than that, though . . . Absolutely wonderful bread, but then, freshly made bread usually is, especially right out of the oven! I had a bit of homemade cranberry sauce still (I make that stuff all year long, with my bags of frozen cranberries), so I drained much of the liquid off & used it as a spread for the first couple of slices ~ Couldn't have been better! Thanks so much for posting the recipe!
