Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 450°F.
Step 2
Mix the Bisquick, buttermilk and sugar together in a bowl.
Step 3
Add the melted shortening into the batter.
Step 4
Stir until a soft dough forms.
Step 5
Turn out onto a well floured board.
Step 6
Knead and pat out.
Step 7
Roll 1/2 inch thick.
Step 8
Cut out into 2" rounds .
Step 9
Place close together on an ungreased baking sheet.
Step 10
Brush tops with melted butter.
Step 11
Bake for 8 minutes until brown
Step 12
When you remove the biscuits from the oven, brush the tops with melted butter again.
