Step by Step Method

Step 1

Mix crab meat with diced celery, chopped bell pepper, salt, pepper, lemon juice, and mayonnaise.

Step 2

Chill.

Step 3

When ready to eat place lettuce leaves on a dish, and spoon crab salad onto lettuce. Serve.

This is so good...you really can taste the crab...I cut the recipe in half and used both red and green bell peppers...I'm not sure what 56 grams of crab meat is but I used a full cup for the two of us...once everything was mixed it looked like tuna salad...but trust me...it's crab and so tasty...made for Bill Board tag game...

This is so easy to make and is one great crab salad. Made using green pepper and think it would be great with red as well as combining both. I enjoyed a serving on lettuce for a light lunch and couldn't resist going one step further, it made a wonderful appetizer served with scoopables as a snack during our Brier Curling! So no surprise that it has been added to my appetizer Cookbook.

Very good crab salad - skipped the bell pepper but other wise made as directed. I used canned crabmeat and cut the ingredients down to 2 servings. Thanks for posting!
