In a large bowl, make burger mixture: Combine crab meat, breadcrumbs, 1/3 cup mayo, beaten egg, chives, and Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, and season generously with salt and pepper. Form into four patties.
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook burgers until golden, 5 minutes per side.
Serve crab cake burgers on buns with lettuce.

This was so delicious. The ingredients did not overbear the flavour of the crab. I added sliced tomato as well as lettuce to top off the burger. I cut the recipe in half and in so doing got a bit too much moisture in the patties and they would not hold together - this was my fault not the recipes so I did not take off a star. I will be making this recipe again!
