Step by Step Method
Step 1
Using 1 tablespoon of the bacon grease in a cast iron skillet
Step 2
Sauté green onion till tender but not brown.

Put potatoes in a large bowl

Add flour, salt and pepper.

Season To taste

Stir until mixed well.
Step 7
Add onions and milk and mix .

Heat remaining bacon grease in the skillet cooked the onions in.

Pour potato mixture into skillet and using a pancake turner, press the potatoes down firmly all around the pan until all potatoes are even and firmly pressed down.
Step 10
Cooking on low heat, cook till browned lightly(about 20 minutes)

Add more bacon grease if needed
Step 12
Turn and cook till browned on other side.
Step 13
This is going to be tricky don't burn yourself

When crispy and brown, remove to platter
