Step by Step Method

Step 1

Sprinkle sugar and coffee on a plate. Dip rim of cocktail glass in a bowl of water to moisten then in the sugar and coffee. Stand glass upright to let set.

Step 2

In a mixing glass or tumbler fill with ice three-fourths of the way up. Pour vodka, Kahlua, and liqueur in glass and stir until condensation forms.

Step 3

Carefully drizzle chocolate syrup on inside of prepared martini glass if desired. Strain vodka mixture into glass and serve immediately.

What a great cocktail. I was a bit skeptical about the sugar/coffee ground rim, but it actually added a nice java touch to each sip. The amounts of the liqueurs was just perfect for filling our martini glasses, too. We enjoyed them. Thanks for sharing your recipe.
