"I found the original recipe in a Penzey's Catalog and it was sent in to them by Ann Phillips from Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. The reason I said original recipe is, I used a mixture of beef and pork. She used ground chuck or any other lean ground beef, but I like a little fat with mine. I also changed the amounts of a few ingredients. And instead of putting the chili over the beans, they were added to the chili. So I guess adding the beans wouldn't make it Cincinnati Chili then, would it ? ;) Posted to " ZAAZ " on 4/17/16.
