Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350F.
Step 2
Spray 2 8'x4" loaf pans with cooking spray; set aside.
Step 3
In a large bowl, combine both flours, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and salt; set aside.
Step 4
In a medium bowl, whisk together sugar, eggs, applesauce, vegetable oil and vanilla.
Step 5
Stir in zucchini.
Step 6
Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and mix just until dry ingredients are moistened.
Step 7
Fold in chocolate chips.
Step 8
Spread batter evenly in prepared pans.
Step 9
Bake for 50 minutes, or until a wooden pick inserted in center of loaves comes out clean.
Step 10
Cool for 5 minutes in pans.
Step 11
Remove from pans and let cool on a wire rack before serving.
