"This is by no means traditional, but it does go well with a St. Patrick's Day meal (or any other time, really). Easy to make, tasty to eat, with just a hint of coffee and whisky flavours through the chocolate. Cook time is refrigeration."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

In a large saucepan, whisk together pudding, milk, Jameson and coffee.

Step 2

Bring to boiling over medium-high heat, stirring constantly, until it gets thick (about 10 minutes).

Step 3

Remove from heat and let cool 10 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent skin forming.

Step 4

Pour into pie shell and smooth top; cover and refrigerate at least two hours up to two days.

Step 5

Before serving, cover with whipped cream. Sprinkles can be added for a more festive look.
