"This frosting is for whenever your sweet tooth needs a fix of rich, chocolaty, peanut-buttery goodness. It is flat out, amazing! It makes enough frosting for one 9x13 inch cake. If you double the cake, double the frosting. I sometimes use this frosting when I make my grandmother's Wacky Cake. Nothing could be better! Makes 1 cake"

Step by Step Method
Step 1
If you have a double boiler, you can use it. If not, use a pot of simmering water, then put a glass bowl large enough to fit on top of it, to put the ingredients in.
Step 2
Finely chop your chocolate. You can use a large block of Callebaut chocolate, or nice quality semi-sweet chocolate chips. If you're using the block, a serrated knife is the best way to chop it.
Step 3
Place your chocolate, peanut butter and butter in the bowl, then put the bowl on top of the simmering pot. Let it melt. Stir until nice and smooth.
Step 4
Pour the frosting over the cake when the frosting is liquid, you can pour it on a hot cake, and it will set up nicely on the cake, or you can wait until it is thicker and spread it with a knife.
Tips
- Double boiler, or a pan with a glass bowl
