Step by Step Method

Step 1

In a saucepan over medium heat bring the cream and milk to a simmer. Remove from heat and add chocolate, stirring until melted and smooth. Stir over medium low heat until it begins to bubble (3-5 minutes).

Step 2

Dived among 4 espresso dcups and serve with a spoon and glasses of cold water.

Oooooh, this is good. I used bittersweet chocolate baking chunks, and it melted perfectly and produced a smooth and creamy drink. I served it for breakfast, to go with Baked Apple Pancake, and we enjoyed every last sip of the Chocolate Espresso drink. Thank you, ellie.

Scrumdiddlyumptious! Made exactly as written, and absolutely adored this recipe. Creamy, rich and decadent.... What more can one ask for, and not too mention so easy! We all really enjoyed this Espresso and I will be making this a lot more. Now at least I have a use for my Espresso cups which I have had for years! Adding straight to the favourites with this recipe.
