"This is a lovely peppy burger that is taste tingling good! It sounds like a killer but it really "isn't too hot. The idea for this recipe came from a recipe on "allrecipes by betsymica1" however I have made sustantial changes. You may BBQ the burgers if you wish. You may make 4 burgers instead of three."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

A couple of hours before dinner mix together 1/4 cup cilantro, diced onion, tomato, jalapeno pepper, avocado topped with the squeezed fresh lime juice' place in the fridge

Step 2

Mix together 1/2 cup cilantro, the ground beef, chopped chipotle peppers, worchestershire sauce, seasoned with salt and pepper. Form meat mixture into 3 patties

Step 3

Lightly spray a skillet, medium/high heat, brown one side of the patties for 2-3 minutes, turn heat down to medium, flip the patties, add mushrooms to the pan cover and fry for about 3 minutes, flip the burgers again lower heat a bit more, stir the mushrooms, cover and continue cooking until the patties are done about 2 more minutes

Step 4

Serve on toasted buns topped with the avocado salsa, mushrooms on the side or on top of the burger Enjoy
