My mom used to add baked beans to leftover sloppy joes and serve on a slice of bread and it became a favorite weekend meal for us when we were younger. This is a grown up version of mom's and we enjoyed it a lot. I doubled the ingredients but only used about 2 tablespoons of chili powder. Hubby used hamburger buns but I stuck with the sourdough bread and used Bush's kidney beans. A quick weekend lunch that will be a favorite for us. Made and reviewed for Susie's World Tour 2019 - Fusion.

Nice flavor. This would be great over hamburger buns also. Too much chili powder for the light weight in our family but everyone else loved it.
