"This has become my favorite bread! It's wonderful as is or toasted, especially with the cherry flavored Craisins. From my old Electric Bread cookbook, although I make it the old fashioned way...with a little help from my Kitchen Aid mixer..."

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Add yeast and pinch of sugar to warm water, set aside.
Step 2
Mix together flour, salt and dried cranberries.
Step 3
Add remaining ingredients and yeast mixture, mixing well.
Step 4
Knead until dough is not terribly sticky, adding flour as needed.
Step 5
Place in greased bowl and cover, let rise until doubled, about an hour.
Step 6
Punch down and shape into loaf. Place in 8" or 9" loaf pan. Let rise until doubled, about an hour.
Step 7
Meanwhile, preheat oven to 375. Once risen, bake for 33 minutes or until done.
