"Taste of Home touted this recipe by Jo Ann Blomquest of Freeport, Illinois as perfect for Valentines Day, but I think of it more as all-occasion. Jo Ann said these cookies "melt in your mouth and are practically fat-free. Is it any wonder these crispy meringue morsels disappear as fast as I can whip them up? My friends and family love them." As a matter of personal preference, I modified the recipe slightly by replacing 1/3 cup chopped dates with 1/3 cup chocolate chips. Yield = 6 Dozen Cookies or 36 Servings @ 2 Cookies Per Person --- Cook Time = 20-30 Min Per Batch. ENJOY!"
