Step by Step Method
Step 1
Add the potato cubes to a saucepan, then add water to cover. Bring to a boil; then cook between 10 to 12 minutes (do not let them get really soft, watch closely!) Put the potatoes into a greased 13x9 inch baking dish.
Step 2
Combine together the condensed soup, milk, salad dressing mix, 1 cup cheese, salt & pepper to taste, then pour over potatoes.
Step 3
Sprinkle crumbled bacon & also the remaining 1 cup of cheese over the top.
Step 4
Bake, uncovered, 350 degrees F between 25 to 30 minutes or till potatoes are tender.
