"From a recipe I got from my sister-in-law back when flank steak used to be a cheap cut of steak. Times do not include marinating time, which can be anywhere from 2 hours to 2 days."

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Score steak on the bias on both sides.
Step 2
Combine marinade ingredients in bottom of low flat pan.
Step 3
Add flank steak and marinade, covered, in refrigerator at least 2 hours, turning occasionally.
Step 4
Cut into 4 pieces and broil or grill, 6 minutes to a side.
