Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 steak (1 pound) beef flank (trimmed of all fat)
  • MARINADE
  • 2 tablespoons oil (olive oil)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons dried green onions or chives
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano, or to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper, or to taste

How to Make

  • Step 1: Score steak on the bias on both sides.

  • Step 2: Combine marinade ingredients in bottom of low flat pan.

  • Step 3: Add flank steak and marinade, covered, in refrigerator at least 2 hours, turning occasionally.

  • Step 4: Cut into 4 pieces and broil or grill, 6 minutes to a side.
