"These are great for Halloween parties and birthdays also no caramels to unwrap for these there easy and fun to make and the best caramel apples, you can roll the caramel apples in mini M&M's, nuts, chocolate, cereal or just about anything just make certain to roll while the caramel is still soft on the apples, I made these often when my son was growing up especially around Halloween time. IMPORTANT! make sure to dry the apples off completely with a clean towel or paper towels before coating in the caramel. If you are planning making to make a double recipe make two recipes in two separate pots. "

My granddaughter came for a visit and we decided to make some Halloween treats for her to bring home to her friends. She chose these, so we got busy. They went together without a hitch. I dipped them in the caramel and she decorated them with all kinds of different candy. They sure looked good enough to eat! I did save some, and just got done indulging. Oh my.... they are delicious!

My daughter and I made these for a Halloween party at church. They turned out great and were a smash hit! Kids lined up to grab one while there were still some there to take home. I should have made a double batch. Good idea for next year!

I doubled this so we had plenty of apples for the crowd at my annual Halloween party. Who doesn't love a caramel apple, I mean really! They were one of the first things to disappear on the table. I did peanuts on some and brown and orange sprinkles on others. They were enjoyed by all and I will make these again next year they went over so well. Thank you!

My daughter wanted a Halloween party and we decided to make these for it. Once they were made we dipped them in orange and black sprinkles and then some of them in crushed nuts. Everyone went home with one. The kids happily took one for their bags as they left the party. These are easy to make and turned out great.
