Place beef, seasoning, hot sauce & garlic in a lrg bowl & mix until just combined. Form the mixture into 8 equally-sized patties.

Step 3

Place oil in a lrg skillet over med-heat. In batches as needed, place patties in hot skillet & cook until browned (about 3-4 min per side). Place a quarter of a cheese slice on top of ea burger to melt. When cheese is melted, set burgers aside & keep warm.

We always use turkey to make our burgers, the ranch and smoked paprika really make these shine. This is one of those recipes where there is room to increase pretty much any of the ingredients in/on the burgers based on your personal preferences.

Great burgers! I used Hawaiian mini buns and made as directed. They were pretty easy to make and full of yumminess. Thanks for sharing, MP. Congrats on your football win!

These are so filling...I cut the recipe in half...the hubby ate two but I could only eat one...I layered it a bit out of order because I melted the cheese on the bottom of the bun...I used sweet Hawaiian buns...served them with a side of fries and dinner was done...made for your big super bowl football win...

This are really good in concept. But first, let me say I had an oops moment when I realized while the burgers were cooking that I was right out of ranch dressing and nothing to make it with, so I used Thousand Island instead, but no biggie. I like that on burgers. My second oops moment came when I shoved one of the little stacked sliders in my mouth and "hmmm...I seem to have forgotten the cheese!" LOL! Well, that is a biggie, so I put cheese on the remainder. But- let me say that 2 pieces of cheese is just not acceptable because those two will only cover half the burgers. Maybe that blogger doesn't like cheese very much? Anyhoo...I also went ahead and put in the full amount of Cajun spice as the amount called for didn't seem enough, and it wasn't too salty that way. And after eating the first cheeseless slider I made I also doubled up on the bacon, because it seemed light as well. But people can make their own choices there. Thanks for sharing.
