Step by Step Method
Step 1
Heat oven to 400°F.
Step 2
Combine baking mix, 2 tbsp sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon, milk and egg in bowl to form dough.
Step 3
Turn out onto lightly floured, cloth covered surface and knead 5 times.
Step 4
Roll 1/2 inch thick.
Step 5
Cut with floured doughnut cutter.
Step 6
To make bowknots, twist ring to form figure 8.
Step 7
Place bowknots and "holes" onto ungreased baking sheet.
Step 8
Bake 8-10 minute.
Step 9
Immediately after baking, dip into melted butter and then into remaining sugar.
