Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400° F.
Step 2
Stir flour and baking powder together and set aside.
Step 3
Beat butter and brown sugar together until light and fluffy.
Step 4
Beat in egg and vanilla.
Step 5
Gradually beat flour mixture into butter mixture. Mix until smooth. Dough will be thick. Do not chill dough.
Step 6
Using cookie press, press out desired shapes onto ungreased baking sheet (or shape cookies by hand).
Step 7
Bake until firm and lightly browned, 8-10 minutes.
