Step by Step Method

Step 1

In a small bowl mix together 3/4 cup mayonnaise, 2 1/4 teaspoons curry powder, and the next three ingredients (yogurt - garlic). Let stand at room temperature while preparing sliders.

Step 2

In a large bowl mix together the turkey and next six ingredients (turkey - salt), the remaining mayonnaise (1/4 cup) and 4 teaspoons of the curry powder; mixing with a fork until blended -DO NOT OVERMIX. Divide mixture into 12 equal portions and using wet hands form each into a patty about 1/2 inch thick.

Step 3

Preheat broiler or heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a skillet over medium high heat. If using the broiler, brush rimmed baking sheet with 1 tablespoon oil and arrange patties on sheet. Broil until cooked through (If using a skillet cover patties and cook in batches). Turn patties over, allowing 3-5 minutes per side.

Step 4

Place patties on bottom halves of rolls. Top each patty with the reserved sauce. Cover with tops. Allow 3 sliders per person.

INCREDIBLE! Seriously sooooo good!! These burgers are some pumped up good stuff. I had about 1.3 lbs ground turkey, but used the full measure of ingredients listed and added a jalapeno and garlic (because I had leftover from another recipe) to the meat mixture. The sauce is Wowzers too and a perfect match with the burgers. It's going right into the my BEST OF list of recipes. Thanks a whole lotta bunch for sharing this one ellie!! Made it for Billboard Tag.

I served this as a regular burger. Loads of flavour and that's special for a turkey burger, I cut the recipe back for 1/2 pound (2 burgers). I loved the sauce. It would go well on pork or seafood. I'll be making this burger again.
