"During the summer months we head off to our summer camp for the weekend right after work on Fridays. We are usually starving by the time we arrive so this quick to put together hot dog recipe is perfect and is always devoured in no time. The recipe is listed for one hot dog so adjust the ingredients according to how many people you are feeding. Of course your favorite toppings can easily be added to this yummy hot dog."

I love those easy peasy recipes that just hit the spot. This is that type of recipe. Why have I never thought to serve hot dogs BLT style before? Delish! Easy too. Thanks for a quick fix dinner that was really tasty.

Bea I took a couple of liberties with your recipe. I used a fat Euro Weiner that I cut in half lengthwise and instead of a hotdog bun I used a Brioche bun that I had in the freezer. Also I used a regular tomato that I chopped & mixed with chopped iceberg lettuce. It sounds like a lot of changes but really when it all came together it transposed into your BLT Dog and I loved it! This may become a regular Saturday Night Special.

O.K. I think now this is one of my favorite hotdogs. We love BLTs and therefore I knew this was going to be GOOD and it indeed did result in very yummy hotdogs. I didn't use the cheese as indicated but did follow all other ingredients listed. Thank you QueenBea for sharing.
