Step by Step Method

Step 1

Soak onions for 5 minutes.

Step 2

Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.

Step 3

Pam spray baking sheet (10x8).

Step 4

Add water to bisquick mix.

Step 5

Mix softly and pat into pan.

Step 6

Butter top and sprinkle poppy seeds on.

Step 7

Bake 10 minutes until lightly browned; cut into sticks.

This was super simple and good. I wasn't sure if I should soak the onions in the 1/2C water or separately. So I soaked them in 2T of water and they soaked it all up and it seemed to work well. This went really well along side some corn chowder. Thanks for sharing, Dee.
