Step by Step Method
Step 1
In large bowl, whisk together Bisquick mix, sugar, cornmeal mix and cornmeal with whisk.
Step 2
Add buttermilk, eggs, and 2 tablespoons oil.
Step 3
Stir with whisk just until blended.
Step 4
Let stand 5 minutes.
Step 5
Meanwhile, heat griddle or skillet over medium-low heat (325°F).
Step 6
Brush with oil, add more oil as needed after each pancake during cooking.
Step 7
For each pancake: pour 1/4 cup batter onto hot griddle.

Cook 3 to 5 minutes or until bubbles form on top. Turn

Cook other side until golden brown.
Step 10
Serve with real maple or maple-flavored syrup.
