Beef n Potato Pie

"Found this on taste of home fair grand champion winner. It is the best beef pie I have tasted. Id have given it 10 stars if option available. It makes a beef pie recipe liked by someone with a bias against beef pies & pie crusts . worth the time to prepair. to save time I buy frozen pie crusts. putting this recipe here for safekeeping."

Mix crust ingredients add water gradually. divide dough in 1/2 roll 1 piece to fit 9 inch pie pan. line pie pan trim even with edge.
Large skillet, saute peppers, onion in 1 tablespoon oil
Add beef, soup, mushrooms, worcestershire, garlic powder, pepper
Bring to boil. combine cornstarch & water. stir into skillet
Bring to boil. cook & stir 2 minutes or thickened.
Cool. spoon into crust, top with potatoes.
Brush remaining oil over potatoes.
Roll remaining dough to fit top. place over filling.
Trim, seal & flute edges. cut slits.
Brush with egg. bake 375 -45 min
Cover edges loosely with foil.
Bake 10 minutes or golden
