Step by Step Method

Step 1

Heat oil in a large skillet; add garlic and cook, over medium-high heat, until it just starts to turn golden.

Add the vodka and cook until it is reduced to half.

Add the canned crushed tomatoes, salt, pepper, basil and sugar and simmer for about 10 minutes.

Stir in the Parmesan cheese and stir until melted.

Add the cream and cook until the mixture just starts to bubble.

Step 6

Stir into your favorite cooked pasta.
