Step 1

Combine basil, garlic, Parmesan cheese, olive oil, and nuts in the bowl of a food processor or blender. Blend to a smooth paste. Mix in chopped parsley (this is optional you don't have to add it)

Did not use the optional parsley this time, and used a lot less cheese. It had a great fresh taste and was pretty quick to make.

Very good and easy to make - I used both the basil and the parsley as they both are growing like weeds this year. I used a blender when I made this and it took only a few minutes. Thanks for sharing!

Delish. Two small comments, for me ... a bit less olive oil; but, that is a personal preference. But, I did add a bit a fresh lemon zest, I think it needed something. Again, probably a personal preference. A simple, basic pesto - great flavor. Can't beat it!
