Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 3 cups basil leaves (packed, leaves only)
  • 4 medium garlic cloves (or 5 small, or 3 jumbo)
  • 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup pine nuts (toasted, Bazil nuts will work fine to)
  • 1/2 cup fresh parsley (optional)
  • Ground pepper and salt (to taste)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Combine basil, garlic, Parmesan cheese, olive oil, and nuts in the bowl of a food processor or blender. Blend to a smooth paste. Mix in chopped parsley (this is optional you don't have to add it)
