Baked Pear Dessert For Two

"This lovely pear dessert is so easy to make and tastes great. This is perfect on its own but DH says when this is served with a bit of whipped cream, it makes this a dessert over the top delicious!"

Step 1

Slice the pear in half, remove core leaving a whole about the size of a tablespoon and set aside.

Step 2

Mix together the remaining ingredients and place equal amounts of this mixture inside the hollowed core.

Step 3

Place in a casserole dish and place in a pre-heated 400 degree Fahrenheit oven and bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until softened. (This will depend on how ripe and how big your pear is; just poke it with a fork to see if it has softened enough for your liking.)

These were good. They were gone too soon! I wish we would have had some ice cream or whipped cream. That would have been awesome. These were just the right amount of sweetness.

Wow! This is so yummy and easy to prepare...the pear comes out perfect...I cooked mine for 20 wasn't mushy at all...I normally bake apples...but I thing pears are going to become our favorite baking fruit now...made for "Bill Board" tag game...
