"This cocktail originated somewhere in the smaller islands of the Bahamas. They first mixed coconut water and very cheap gin, but the taste was awful. But sweet milk (sweetened condensed milk) is a pantry staple in the Bahamas, so they started adding it to the gin & coconut. And thus the cocktail was born - and is now found everywhere throughout the Bahamas."
