Step by Step Method
Step 1
Place cooked rice in the bottom of a well greased 10x6 baking dish. Top with sliced asparagus.
Step 2
Melt butter in a saucepan; blend in flour. Add evaporated milk and water; cook until thickened.
Step 3
Turn off heat. Add salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
Step 4
Add cheese and ham. Pour over rice mixture.
Step 5
Sprinkle with almonds.
Step 6
Bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 35 minutes.
