Step 1: Place cooked rice in the bottom of a well greased 10x6 baking dish. Top with sliced asparagus.
Step 2: Melt butter in a saucepan; blend in flour. Add evaporated milk and water; cook until thickened.
Step 3: Turn off heat. Add salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
Step 4: Add cheese and ham. Pour over rice mixture.
Step 5: Sprinkle with almonds.
Step 6: Bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 35 minutes.
