Step 1

Mix applesauce, oil, and sugar.

Step 2

Sift in the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg, mixing well after each addition.

Step 3

Add slightly beaten egg and raisins and mix.

Pour into greased and floured 8"x4" loaf pan.

Step 5

Bake at 325' F. for 1 hour 20 minutes or until done.
