Step by Step Method
Step 1
Select 1 inch slice of ham weighing about 2 pounds.
Step 2
Lay ham slice in shallow baking dish.
Step 3
Cover ham steak with layer of apple slices, then sprinkle liberally with brown sugar. Dot with butter.
Step 4
Cover and bake in a 425 degree oven for 45 minutes.
Step 5
Uncover, and bake for 15 more minutes or until apples are done.
