Step by Step Method

Step 1

Cook turnips in salted water until tender.

Step 2

Drain.

Step 3

Meanwhile, Pam spray 8x8 casserole.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

When turnips are tender, mash and then add 1/2 cup bread crumbs, saving rest for top.

Step 6

Add sugar, milk, salt and pepper to taste.

Step 7

Add eggs.

Step 8

Mix together.

Step 9

Pour into greased 8x8 baking dish.

Step 10

Dot with butter and rest of crumbs.

Step 11

Bake 45 minutes at 375 degrees F.
