Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
Step 2
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, onions, garlic, panko breadcrumbs, eggs, jalapeno, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, chili powder, and cayenne pepper (if using).
Step 3
Use your hands to mix all the ingredients until well combined. Be careful not to overmix.
Step 4
Shape the mixture into a loaf shape and place it on a greased air fryer basket or tray. Make sure there is enough space around the meatloaf for proper air circulation.
Step 5
Generously brush the top of the meatloaf with BBQ sauce.
Step 6
Place the meatloaf in the preheated air fryer and cook for 35-40 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C). Cooking times may vary depending on the size and model of your air fryer.
Step 7
About halfway through the cooking time, carefully brush another layer of BBQ sauce on top of the meatloaf.
Step 8
Continue cooking until the meatloaf reaches the desired doneness and the internal temperature is reached.
Step 9
Once cooked, carefully remove the meatloaf from the air fryer and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
Step 10
Serve the BBQ meatloaf slices with your favorite sides and additional BBQ sauce if desired.
