"An easy to make recipe for asparagus, using your air fryer. I love air fryer vegetables year-round, but especially in the summer so I don't heat up my house with traditional roasting. I add salt after the asparagus is cooked, to taste. If you prefer to add it to the other seasonings, feel free to do so. Also, I add the entire pound of asparagus into my air fryer to cook at one time; if you get better results by using only one layer of vegetables at a time, you can cook this in batches. It doesn't take long to cook. If your air fryer needs to be preheated, preheat to 400°F."

Step by Step Method

Step 1
In a mixing bowl, drizzle the asparagus with oil, then season with garlic powder and lemon pepper. Toss the pieces around to coat evenly.

Step 2
Set your air fryer to 400°F. Air fry for 5 minutes, shake the basket to move the asparagus around, and then air fry for another 5 minutes. If you have really thin asparagus, it may take a shorter amount of time; alternatively, if you have thick asparagus, it may take a longer amount of time. The asparagus is done when it is tender and browned to your preference. Season with salt, to taste.
