"Easy and tasty! But plan ahead for these as the flavor is best if the spices are added to the ground beef and allowed to "marinate" for several hours before grilling, pan frying, or broiling. I pan fried for about 3-4 minutes on each side and ate as a "steak" with grilled onions and potato salad. "

Step 1

Sprinkle brown sugar and the spices over the ground meat and mix well. Cover bowl and refrigerate for at least two hours (mine went 4) or overnight.

Step 2

Divide into patties. Grill, pan fry or oven broil.

Super Yum!!! Served with the sauce it was great! My picky husband and son wouldn't use the sauce but they really enjoyed the burgers. Of course I didn't tell them there was anything "extra" in the meat. : )

Bergy (RIP" Forever in our Kitchen)

I make so many different burgers and am always amazed at the difference a small defferent combination of spices can make. This burger has fabulous flavour and look, only 3 added ingredients - brown sugar, adobo (which I love) and old bay seasoning (which I also love). A brand new flavour loaded burger is born! 2 Aug 2014 Burger made again and enjoyed just as much. This time I paired the burger with recipe#9587 Burger sauce. - a perfect companion. Thanks Willow I do love this burger.

Derf "RIP" Forever in our Kitchen

Wow what a tasty burger pattie !! wonderful flavour, i'll be making these again, we loved them and soo easy to put together and quick too. Love the adobo seasoning, one of our favourite seasonings and the old bay adds to it too. Thanks for posting.
