Step by Step Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 425 degrees .

Step 2

Put butter in skillet.

Step 3

Add onion and bell pepper and simmer on low until browned.

Step 4

Meanwhile (I might make this first) sift dry ingredients together for biscuits.

Step 5

Cut in shortening.

Step 6

Add milk.

Step 7

Roll out to 8" x 12"

Step 8

Sprinkle on cheese, then pimientos.

Step 9

Roll like a jelly roll.

Step 10

Meanwhile back to the sauce.

Step 11

Add flour and seasonings.

Step 12

Add tuna, milk and lemon juice.

Step 13

When thickened, pour into pie plate or casserole.

Step 14

Top with the rolls you've cut.

Step 15

Bake 30 minutes until browned.

this is pretty good and we enjoyed it with salad for dinner. It didn't say when to add the tuna, so I just added it with the milk in the skillet. As there is a lot of cheese in this dish, the family enjoyed the tuna pie a lot more than expected. Very good. Thanks for sharing!
