"This recipe started out as just simple can of fruit cocktail,and ended up as a different type of cobbler/cake.And I think what makes this different, you can use almost " ANY " type of canned fruit and end up with a very nice dessert.Feel free to top it with whipped topping or ice cream. Step by Step Method
Step 1
Add margarine to a 2 quart rectangle baking dish which has been sprayed with cooking spray.
Step 2
Place in oven which has been set to 350 degrees.
Step 3
While margarine is melting, mix together well the sugar,flour,and milk in a medium sized bowl and set aside.
Step 4
After margarine has melted, place fruit( if you have large pieces of fruit cut into bite size pieces) in pan and spread evenly into pan.
Step 5
Pour batter mixture evenly over fruit,DO NOT STIR.
Step 6
Bake at 350 for 45 minutes,test with toothpick after 35 minutes, if toothpick comes out clean, it's done.If not add a few more minutes.
